Fleet Foxes

I know I haven't posted any new work lately, but it doesn't mean I'm not doing anything creative... I just finished my very first every linocut print- which by the way took SO much longer than I anticipated, but I'm very happy with the result! I will post it as soon as I get to the office scanner! I'm also working on a new doll... It's been so long since I last made a doll, and considering I've had a handful of people want to buy the one doll I have (which isn't for sale, since she was the first one I ever made) I thought it might be a good time to add another to the collection! I can't wait to see how she turns out- previously I've only ever worked with fimo clay, but this time I thought I'd brave it and try something new...paper clay. It's SO different, but I find it much easier to worth with and mold...I will post pictures in stages so you can see. Speaking of clay, I recently came across this video on youtube, by the band "Fleet Foxes"... if you've never heard of them before, you should check them out- they have some good songs to chill to. Back to the video though- the entire thing is an animation using clay, SO impressive considering I could only imagine the time that went into this production!
So I just thought I would share it with you...hope you enoy!

Love the video. That would have taken sooo long...you just imagine how important that must have been to them, as a video of just them playing their intstruments would have been effortless. Can't wait to see your new creations and especially your steps you are taking to do it!!!!!
